CFB EASY MONEY – Week 13 Lock

Michigan Wolverines vs The Ohio State Buckeyes – Preview & Prediction

Who is ready for some smash mouth football? My lock of the week this late in the College Football season comes down to one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports! Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan Wolverines are playing their best football in decades, while The Ohio State Buckeyes might be the worst 10-1 team I’ve ever seen.

The Michigan Wolverines are led by their suffocating defense that has kept every single team on their schedule under 25 points and their only loss was against the undefeated Fighting Irish week 1. Shea Patterson has given Michigan another dimension besides just running the ball between the tackles too on the offensive side. Michigan is one win away from a perfect conference schedule, but can they pull it off on the road against OSU?

The Ohio State Buckeyes are 10-1, while also being extremely inconsistent. They’ve been dealing with off-the-field drama from Head Coach Urban Meyer, their best player Nick Bosa left the team mid-season to focus on the upcoming NFL draft, and yet they still have a chance to play in the BIG 10 championship if they can take down their rival in Columbus! OSU has two different one point wins this season & their defense seems vulnerable as they go into their final regular season game.

Recent history points to Ohio State winning this Saturday as the Buckeyes have won 13 of the past 14 matchups against the Wolverines, including the last 6 straight. The difference in this game is that the Wolverines are no longer the underdog, like it has been over the past decade. Michigan is favored by -5 points, but I like the money line here taking them to win straight up. This has been a magical season for Jim Harbaugh’s team and I don’t see their momentum slowing down yet!

CHUCK’S LOCK: Michigan To Win (moneyline -190)

Prediction: Michigan 24 Ohio State 20

[Record Against The Spread: 3-2]
