CFB EASY MONEY – Week 10 Lock

Iowa State vs Kansas – Preview & Prediction

The first College Playoff Rankings of 2019 came out this week and teams across the country are making their push to finish the season strong. Some teams are falling apart, while others are finding their stride. One of those teams finding their stride is Iowa State! My lock for week 9 was over 56 total points between Iowa State & Texas Tech, which won easily with 71 total points. The (4-3) Cyclones third straight victory is starting to show the nation how underrated this Midwest team is. The next opponent on Iowa State’s schedule is the (3-5) Kansas Jayhawks.

Kansas is coming off a big win last week against TCU, which snapped their 4 game losing streak. The Jayhawks have given up a minimum of 26 points in each of their past five games, while Iowa State has scored a minimum of 26 points in 5 of their last 6 games. The Cyclones are smoking hot and are looking to run the table to reach the BIG 12 conference game! KU on the other hand is just lucky to have a conference win & they’re counting down the days in Lawrence till the college basketball season begins.

The Jayhawks host the Cyclones at noon ET this Saturday. I see ISU coming into this game on a mission and moving the ball effectively. When Kansas falls behind they will press, which will lead to mistakes and the Cyclones scoring off turnovers. Iowa State is favored by -14.5 points, but just like last week the OVER/UNDER is only 46… If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

CHUCK’S LOCK: OVER 46 TOTAL POINTS

Prediction: Iowa State 37 Kansas 20

[Record Against The Spread: 2-0]
